Take a Closer Look

Church Work Day: “Many hands make light work.”  Next Saturday, October 22 from 9-3 we will be having a church clean up day. We will be doing some pruning, spreading bark, setting up a new play structure and just making the place look great on the outside. We will be in need of some wheel barrows, shovels, rakes, and clippers. Plan to stay an hour, two, or spend the whole day with us. Any questions please contact Barry Desbiens (503) 754-8929.


Baby Shower: Ladies, please join us Next Sunday October 23rd following service at The Place’s home 35 Meikle PL as we celebrate the coming of Andrea & Aaron Burnett’s baby boy!!! To contribute to a group gift please call Janice at: (503) 896-0368.

 

Congregational Meeting: We would like to invite you to join us following our service on Sunday October 30th as we have our congregational meeting where we will be talking about our staffing, what the plan is, and where we are at in that plan. We invite you to come, be a voice and give your input. Lunch and childcare will be provided.

Foster Parents Night Out: Last Sunday we had a terrific response from Mike Pinkerton’s presentation. We would like you to know that your still have time to sign up! Sign up sheets are in the lobby. If you have any questions please contact

Annual Wreath Making: We are looking for a crafty person who is interested in being the lead contact for our Annual Wreath Making Event. There will be a pizza lunch and donations welcome.
