A Closer Look:

Promotion Sunday: June 5th we will be celebrating our children and youth as they move up in school grade and our church programs.  A highlight of the morning will be honoring our graduates.  If you know of anyone who attends First Covenant who is graduating from college this year please let the office know.

Help Needed for Lobby Coffee: We need volunteers to make and serve the lobby coffee prior to the service just during the summer months. If you are willing and able, there is a sign-up sheet on the coffee cart just waiting for your name! There are also complete instructions for the procedure.  We appreciate your help and if you have further questions, please contact Cotton Pauly at
503-255-9299. Thank you

New City Initiative: Join us Sunday, MAY 22nd for a conversation with PAUL SCHROEDER, Executive Director of New City Initiative and Village Support Network.  As we come to the end of our series “Discipleship in a Culture of isms”, Paul and Pastor Kent will present a conversation around the question, “What keeps us from compassion and community?"

Service Time Change: A reminder that Sunday, May 29th we will be beginning our summer hours. Worship will begin at 10am.

Rummage Sale: Springtime is a great time to do a bit of spring cleaning. So what a good time to go through all of your goodies and decide if you want to keep it, throw it away, or donate to the church and support our Mission to Mexico team! For questions or to arrange a time to bring your treasures by the church please contact Erik.
