A Closer Look
Promotion Sunday: June 5th we will be celebrating our children and youth as they move up in school grade and our church programs. A highlight of the morning will be honoring our graduates. If you know of anyone who attends First Covenant who is graduating from college this year please let the office know.
Help Needed for Lobby Coffee: We need volunteers to make and serve the lobby coffee prior to the service just during the summer months. If you are willing and able, there is a sign-up sheet on the coffee cart just waiting for your name! There are also complete instructions for the procedure. We appreciate your help and if you have further questions, please contact Cotton Pauly at 503-255-9299. Thank you
Rummage Sale: Springtime is a great time to do a bit of spring cleaning. So what a good time to go through all of your goodies and decide if you want to keep it, throw it away, or donate to the church and support our Mission to Mexico team! For questions or to arrange a time to bring your treasures by the church please contact Erik.
Spark: Our summer children's ministry (Kids Worship) will be called Summer Spark Workshops for kids ages 4yrs-5th grade. We will be having stations in which kids will participate, and we would love for you to facilitate and lead a workshop for our children! They are: Bible Skills and Games, Art, Cooking, Drama, Computer, Creative Drama, Music, Science, and Video. We will offer two stations each Sunday the kids can choose from, so each workshop would have about 10 kids. Let Sarah know the dates you are available and which workshops you may be interested in facilitating. The curriculum uses the Bibles that we gave the kids last year - samples are available in the lobby if you'd like to take a look. Let Sarah know if you have any questions.
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.
