Take a Closer Look

FPNO: Please be in prayer for our first Foster Parent’s Night Out that will be happening this Saturday.

Come & Play Group: We had a wonderful first playgroup last week! Please continue to tell people about it and invite them to come. The neighbors that came were very excited about this and thankful to have something like this right here in the neighborhood.

Toddler Toys Needed: As we begin the Come & Play Group We would love to get a few of the following toys: riding toys, toys for toddlers, and dolls. Please let Sarah know if you have any that you could donate. They need to be suitable for kids under 3. Thank you!

MUD Retreat 2017: January 13-15 our High School youth group went to our conference retreat at Cascades Camp. We braved the snow here in Portland to find a beautiful snowy scene at camp. We took 15 high school students.  Our speaker was Ben Kearns, he was amazing, funny and full of energy!  Over the weekend we learned about being molded in Christ and  what that means. We also talked about Justice and celebrated the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  and learned about the work that still needs to be done. We also learned about forgiveness, what that means and how to truly forgive. We experienced beautiful worship, breakout sessions, prayer stations, great food, big games and some fun card games, time with friends and mostly we experienced Christ. Thank you to Our church for your prayers.

Cold Weather Items: For the month of January we will be collecting new or gently used winter coats. We will still continue to collect socks through out the winter months as well as sleeping bags.

We are currently in the interview process of finding a new Pastor of Worship, Arts, & Youth. Please keep the leadership team in your prayers as we discern and continue this process. Thank you.
